PSRI and custom grind cams
I am Finally having the time to post up about my PSRI built by NASVT and custom grind cams spec'd by NASVT. Had them installed by Jason at east texas fuel injection. The tune was done by Manny at HPP racing. The mach 1 feels amazing now. Just need to get use to the 430 gears and when to shift. It made 373 RWHP and 322 Torque.

Re: PSRI and custom grind cams
Very nice! Excellent power.
Can you provide any details about the custom cam specs and the install settings? |

Re: PSRI and custom grind cams
NASVT did that for me and also worked with the installer... Todd is a great help!!! Could not be happier with the setup. I will do some head work next year...

Re: PSRI and custom grind cams
Quick question, are you still running the factory 24# injectors? All of the calculators I've seen point out that they are good to about 320-330hp; while word of mouth and people on the forums say they're good to 350-400 depending on who you listen to...

Re: PSRI and custom grind cams
Some on here say ported heads aren't worth anything. But for my build im sending them to fox lake.

Re: PSRI and custom grind cams
IT may not be a big bang for the buck... But it will help! I am going to get mine done from HPP racing in dallas. I am also going to change the gears in the oil pump...

Re: PSRI and custom grind cams
Great numbers and nice curve. Would it be alright if I removed those little peaks from lifting off the throttle at the end of the run and put you down for 368 HP on the NA HP List?

Re: PSRI and custom grind cams
I paid 1700.00 for cams, intake, axles, gears, cobra diff, and pulley's. So not sure for just cams.

Re: PSRI and custom grind cams
Holy Bajeezus! That is as much as cams cost alone and then some lol. I know it is labor instensive at around $80/hr for maintenance, just wondering the standard shop time for cams only. Thanks!

Re: PSRI and custom grind cams
yes I think i was quoted 2200 for cam install before... you might want to ask who ever you are going to get to install the cams... i feel for the work I had done that was a great price.
