Wow... I couldn't get my Mach that shiny if I coated it in Baby Oil.

Good luck with the sale!

Now I know I replied to this already ...hm. But, it's a 2004. I just replaced the '04 badges with '03 badges.

Re: FS: 2004 Mach 1 (Built/F1A/6spd)

Easy to agree with everyone else. Your car is gorgeous, and the modifications
researched and installed show me your real level of enthusiasm. A few, most
likely stupid questions, for which I apologize if I'm asking you to repeat yourself.
Any original stock seats in your possession? Any major problems installing if
some could be found? Like different seat rail locations for the Corbeau seats.
Has the car made any shakedown laps at a track?
Are blower pulleys available that would reduce boost to maybe 10lbs.?
Do all standard accessories (Radio/cd, a/c) still work?
Is it equipped with anti-theft alarm?
I believe you wrote somewhere that the car was not stored in a garage. How did you protect it from rain, snow, sun? That would be my situation for a while. Mostly sun. I noticed some small areas of rust on what looked like a frame connector. Any comment?
Also, because I'm new to this method of locating cars I'm interested in, could/
would you explain to me how I can communicate with you privately?

No problem with the questions. I'll answer anything to make a potential buyer more comfortable to make a decision. See below in red.

I do not have the stock seats anymore; sold them to help with the Corbeau purchase. Corbeau rails use the stock rail mounting locations. There would be absolutely no problem installing stock seats ...for both front and rear.

Has the car made any shakedown laps at a track?
The car has never been to the drag strip for as long as I've owned it.

Are blower pulleys available that would reduce boost to maybe 10lbs.?
The only other pulley I have is a Reichard Racing pulley that makes 15psi. It's actually the biggest pulley (4.15") you can fit without major clearance issues with the valve cover and alternator. A P1/D1 would get you down to 10psi.

Do all standard accessories (Radio/cd, a/c) still work?
Yes, stock radio system, a/c, heat, defrost all work. A/C still puts out cold air.

Is it equipped with anti-theft alarm?
Whatever Ford has from the factory (the PATS system). I did not put an aftermarket system on it.

I believe you wrote somewhere that the car was not stored in a garage. How did you protect it from rain, snow, sun? That would be my situation for a while. Mostly sun.
I kept the car as clean as possible all the time: washed every couple weeks, waxed every 6mo. A car cover was placed on it whenever there was a threat of severe storms. But like I said, since mid-2007 it has been in a garage and never intentionally seen rain. I've been caught in it a few times though when the weather spun a 180 on me.

I noticed some small areas of rust on what looked like a frame connector. Any comment?
That is probably where the powdercoating/paint has flaked off. The subframe connectors came powdercoated and I painted over the welds that hold the connectors on.

Also, because I'm new to this method of locating cars I'm interested in, could/would you explain to me how I can communicate with you privately?
I'll send you a PM with how you can contact me.

Didn;'t this car throw up on the dyno a while back?
Lifted a head at Excessive or something IIRC.
Same car?
If so, fixed?
If a different car, my apologies.

 Nice metaphor. Yes, same car. It just blew a head gasket. Compression/leakdown all checked out fine. Here is the video I made of the dyno runs and the boost controller issues I was having at the time.

It's largely because I am stubborn on the price.

My wife may not agree to this trade. Late-response-Fail on my part ...I never received an email for this post.

The sale was put on hold for the last two months because I was out of town, but I just got back, so it's back up for sale ...someone buy this please.
