Re: cobra cam install

I'm about to do the same next weekend. i did a search and it seems easy on here. but other people are telling me its hard and the timing cover has to come off and all kinds of stuff. I'm not planning on degreeing it if i dont have to.

i want to have everything ready before i start. like gaskets and stuff.

You may be leaving a lot of power on the garage floor if you don't degree them.

Very true what na svt says.

When we did my brothers there is upwards of 4-6 degrees of deadband swing from the chains and slop in them. With that said 4-6 degrees just in that and not even accounting for where you install the cams you could be way out and leave plenty of power behind that is needlessly left out.

Even if it takes 2 days to figure out and degree them properly is worth it in the end.
