Are these control arms decent?

My Control arm bushings are pretty much shot all the way around, and I am trying to find a price efficient set of control arms.

Any input on these?:
http://www.uprproducts.com/mustang-g...trol-arms.html

I would only track the car once every blue moon, and it will be my DD. I can deal with in-cabin noise no problem, but I didn't know if these were too much of a pain to install, or have breakage issues.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Are these control arms decent?

i have the UPR adjustale LCA's, that way I can stiffen them up for the track and loosen them up for daily driving so its not so rough.

Re: Are these control arms decent?

Good to know. I am on a budget and am trying to find a decent deal. If not the UPR in the link I posted, what about the J&M rear LCA's?

Thanks guys

Re: Are these control arms decent?

We're carrying BMR now and they make a great product. All made here in Tampa Bay, FL. They've been making leading parts for Chevys for years and over the past 7 years, have made a HUGE push into the Mustang market. I've seen their fabrication facility personally, and these guys are top notch!

Re: Are these control arms decent?

Either the ones above, or Steeda.
I would not put anything UPR on my car.

Re: Are these control arms decent?

I try to "suggest" my feelings on that but I need to be careful not to hurt any feelings...and it doesn't look professional from a business standpoint.

From a personal, enthusiast standpoint, I'm with you though.

I understand where you guys are coming from. I personally have never had a problem with any of their products but have heard bad things from other people.

Re: Are these control arms decent?

They are decent for sure. Thats the most common design, JEGS and Summit sell ones that look exactly the same.

I'm running some of the 79-04 control arms, and I cut 1.6 60ft times with them. I have never had an issue with them. No complainants here.

The ones I got were off ebay and look just like that. I don't even think it had a brand name associated with it.

The only down side is if you get the 79-04 kits the bolt for the lower control arms is smaller as in diameter than stock. But its more about the bushings when you buy those control arms anyways.

Re: Are these control arms decent?

I am just needing something that will last for a while. It won't be beat on too hard. I am moving back to the states and can't be spending a whole lot right now.

Think I will be ok? And what bolt will I need 828?

Re: Are these control arms decent?

i have UPR upper/lower non-adj control arms
they feel better than factor
i would say if you have someone that can adj the uppers, than i get adj uppers. but if not i just get some non adj ones

seems like the links given above would be just fine for what your looking for

Why do you feel you need adjustment of the uppers? Pinion angle, vibes etc?
