Getting the BUG and JDM

Since I got the Mach 1 back going and have a procharger ready to install on it the GT500 bug has bit me. I love the 2013's but I can't justify paying more that my house for a car unless I am sleeping in it.
I found a good 09 GT500 for a good price and most important, in the colors I have always wanted. My first turn was to look at parts. JDM Engineering has a great kit (I think) to add to my 2009.

I guess I am looking to you guys for anwers on a few things. Anyone got a discount code for them or are they like upr and can Neg over the phone for a lower price, has anyone dealt with them and the last thing does anyone know of a better kit from anyone.

Thanks
Jason

Re: Getting the BUG and JDM

I think Id compare all that stuff against the cost of a 2013 shelby blower swap, I might be wrong but I think from what I saw on SVTP that the new blower bolts right up and isnt much more than that power package.

I can put something together for you but you need to get a custome tune, which I always recommend.

Re: Getting the BUG and JDM

Hey Jeff, thanks for jumping in. So right now this is what I am looking at: http://www.teamjdm.com/2007-2012-she...arger-upgrade/ .
That is pretty much taking the 2013 charger and putting it on the car.
This was the kit I was looking at before: http://www.teamjdm.com/2007-09-shelb...ormance-parts/ .
Now after thinking about it I wanted to add this part to the first kit "•ATI 15%overdrive balancer pulley". After a email to JDM they said it would be better to hold off on that because that would put me at 20lbs of boost and long tube headers with my O/R pipe would be very much recomended with that big of boost/heat. That I can see. And this also comes with a tune, but I think A guy on here is willing to work with me on that. So if you can beat 660hp to the rear wheels for a better price my ears are always open.
Thanks!

Re: Getting the BUG and JDM

Jeff, I see your site also sells steeda rims. You wouldnt happen to have 2 older steeda ultra light 2's on hand? I trashed two of mine when I hit the wall with my Mach.
Thanks again

My name is Nick from JDM. I answered your e-mail : )

I wanted to post on here earlier to tell you that we has the 750 kit in the works, but I see you found the new link on our site! I also wanted to check with the moderators to see if it was OK that I do so.

Your best bet is to give Jim Jr. a call and talk to him about your options. e is very knowledgeable and will be in the office today (Saturday) from 9am to 4pm. 732-780-0770
