Tip on how to hunt down a leak in centi boost system.
I am running a P-1 that normally sees 9-9.5 lbs of boost. Last time at the track it peaked out at 7lbs and recently it has gone down to 5lbs. I checked the surge valve per Procharger's tips and thought it may be bad, so I bought another one. This did not fix my low boost either. I talked to my tuner and he suggested what I am about to show you.
1. Go to your local DIY store and pick up a PVC cap (or blank plate is what I used). 2. Drill the cap to accomodate a air compressor fitting. 3. Disconnect the first coupling coming out of the s/c head unit. (I used the second only because it was easier to get to). 4. Insert PVC cap into the disconected coupling and tighten clamps! MAKE DANG SURE that the clamps holding the cap on are tight. Dont ask me how I know this, but my cap blew out and nailed me in the knee. LOL 5. Turn car keys to the accessory position so the boost gage is operational. 6. Hook up an air compressor to the fitting in the cap and pressurize the system so that you read about 5lbs higher then normal boost. 7. Now you can check every coupling up to the TB for leaks as well as your intake manifold and all the items that bolt to it. In my case the MAF was leaking bad where it mounts to the adapter. These dang stock MAF housings tend to bow and leak after a while. I am on my third MAF housing because of this. Hope this helps someone in the future.

My bolts are staying tight, but when you pull the MAF housing off and set it on the ground, you can see light all around it except where the bolts go. I might try the Silicone next time or see about just getting a metal MAF housing from somewhere.
