zex systems
a buddy of mine is wanting to sell me a zex nitrous system. the computer controlled one. he has the complete system bottle, hoses, computer, bottle warmer, purge, selenoids. everything i need except the wire he said. he wants $400 for the kit. what do you guys think of the zex system. is it good or crap and is it worth $400?

Re: zex systems
Seems like the system of choice is not a Zex but a NX system on here.

Re: zex systems
That is a good price, since the standard Zex wet or dry system does not come with a purge kit or bottle heater. The same with NX..!!The Zex bottle heater is not a very good unit for fast heating of the bottle in cold weather. I'm not sure what you mean by except the wire???
There has been problems with the Zex NMU (nitrous mangement unit) not activating or activating when it should not. Don't know if this is still a problem..??? It is the easiest system to install in my opinion. Zex rates their hp shot at the motor.

Re: zex systems
I agree with Phil. That is a pretty good price since w/o the purge and heater is over $500.00. That set-up helped mine into the tens!
