What Do You Think?

I want to paint my trunk instead of getting one of those honeycomb panels with black out kits on the tail lights and fill in the Mustang with black here is a photoshop pic of what it might look like. What do you think?

Re: What Do You Think?

I prefer the trunk without any black accent added. I feel there is enough black on the car already....don't even want the Mustang letters on the rear bumper cover.

Re: What Do You Think?

That'll look good. Kind of reminds me of the highway patrol cars in the back.

Isn't there a place to buy the vinyl stripes for the back instead of the honeycomb? Does it match the stripes on the sides and hood?

Re: What Do You Think?

It'll look good. Mines got vinyl on it right now, but once the weather evens out and it's nice enough I'm going to have it painted.

Re: What Do You Think?

OK....As long as the paint matches the hood stripe texture.

It will look good! But if it was me I would just paint the trunk, not the bumper part but that's just my .02

Re: What Do You Think?

Sorry, im gonna say it for those who won't.. im just not diggin it at all..

never did like the Honeycomb Panel & i dont like the black out back there at all.. It looks to tacky or to "kiddish" might be the better word..

If it were carbon fiber that was serving a purpose or some lettering in the bumpers "MUSTANG" to let people know its a mustang that just passed em by is one thing but this is something else entirely

I would be more content they know it was a Mach 1 that passed, and not just another Mustang. But that's a whole 'nuther issue.

I think it would look nice if done to match as was said earlier... Honeycomb... maybe. Paint, better. Just me wee opinion.
