Re: hellion

Price is a huge factor, as far as turbo kits go hellion is one of the best! In order to reach the full potential you are going to have to build your motor and probably your rear end and tranny. If reaching the full potential of the turbo is a concern and you just want somewhere around 450RWHP a much cheaper option would be to just be a super charger kit sense one of those can be had for less than $4,000

Re: hellion

well i plan to build the motor next year or when it blows this is not a dd so i have no worries also since i have jba headers i would have to put my stock manifolds back on correct. also what size turbo should i run if i want just a little under 500 for now and later on i would like to increase it to somewhere around 600. also should i go with the fuel system that they supply or what recommendations does anyone have thanks

I thought the Hellion had custom turbo headers. You can't use your JBA headers.
The hellion kit uses the stock exhaust manifolds.

Re: hellion

dont forget that you need to change your k-member in your driveway...lol .
i modified my kit and used kooks long tubes and came off of those and i made an additional 38 hp with the exact same single t70 setup. i picked up 32 lb ft at 2500 rpm over the stock garbage manifolds. i tried some aftermarket shorties also but i saw no improvement over stock. consider a diy or a manufacturer that has designed the exhaust system with total performance in mind. i wanted the best for my mach and it was worth it.

Just build your own, Aeromotive, Weldom, etc. Weld a sump in the tank run a -10AN feel line High volume fuel pump, fuel filter, Y it off to dual -8AN lines to go on each side of the fuel rails, then from the rails to the regulator, then run either a -6AN or -8AN for a return back to the tank. A good set up might cost you some coin but if you are going to be making alot of power you got to have it no questions asked.
