Re: good shop for work being done

Have not had them do any work YET, but will soon, but I would recommend Performance Solutions after seeing their work in action at the Track this weekend. From what I saw with those who headed out who had PSR do work for them, they do a nice job. Plus don't get me started on Dan's Cobra, that thing was ****in sick.

Another vote here for Performance Solutions. They do awesome work. Plus they do all the work on Arizona's Fastest Mach 1.

Give them a call, they will treat you right. (602) 269-8955

Let me know...
Thanks for the advise.

Hey old man once you finally make up your mind and move out here with us in AZ then I will gladly hand over the title. But untill then it's mine!!!

Also for a Mach to be the fastest it has to be running.

Sent you a PM M1M!

I love the 4.10's! Made the car so much fun to drive I'm even considering 4.30's.
It is not a daily driver but, I drive it to Tucson like every other weekend. You will not notice any driveability issues in town, and the freeway isn't bad at all either. You will prolly actually get better gas mileage in town. With 4.10's you will be able to cruise the city streets in 5th.

Re: good shop for work being done

Come on down and check out the shop, we wont sell and try not to let you buy anything that wont make your Mach faster. Or you can meet up with us at the track sometime, all of us at the shop are gear heads and we try to hit the track regularly!!!!

See ya soon.

I have 4:10's in my Mach, and its a DD, I drive from north Phx to Tempe every day for work. I love the 4:10's they definitely wake the car up, and I did not see much of a difference in gas mileage. I have taken the car on several trips to Cali, and San Antonio TX, with the 4:10's and never had a problem.. although on a 14 hour drive the ehaust at 3k rpm is quite soothing lol.
Don't fear the Gear.....

Edit: P.S Although I have not had any work done at PSR (do to finances) I know a few of the guys there, and have seen the outcome of thier work... another  for PSR

So im thinking that the gears should be the first thing that I do...finances are not super tight for me...but i have also been told that subframe connectors are important and make the car feel a lot different...
I will probably go to PSR when I have time soon and get their advise too.

Give them a call or go visit the shop. Or you could contact one of the PSR guys on here, I'm sure if you PM'd INDY or DanB that either of them would be more than helpful.

Re: good shop for work being done

Ok I'll chime in as someone with 4:10's and sub frame connectors....both are excellent mods....both you can FEEL immediately.
The biggest improvement with the sub frame connectors is how the car turns IN to the corners and with the gears is how quickly you can get through them

Re: good shop for work being done

Well I'm giving performance solution a shot...looks like its my clutch.
I will let everyone know how it goes...
Initial impression from going over there and having them look at everything is good. They didnt push me to do any additional upgrades or put anything into the vehicle that didnt seem needed. Very up front and even emailed me the estimate.
I will keep you posted.
