Jerry, I will have to see what the schedule allows. You know I have to not only juggle the 2 cars but also the hot girlfriend!!! ;-) What show is this? When? Where? The mach is definitely ready. I took it back to the garage after the All Mustang Event and it has not moved.

I wish that i would have seen this thread sooner, but what are everyones plans for today, with the rain and alll. How many machs are ready to head out? i am 45 min north of muncie. and would be intrested in meeting up.

Well I believe that there is enough participation

however, our local drag strip is where I was going to hold the event and it is in the process of changing owners. I am going to rent the track for a day next year and have a race, show cookout. If the new owner still has the same policy as the old one I will rent the track for the day 9 am to 4 pm and everyone can run all day. This is normally on a Wednesday. I have done this in the past for just a group of 10-12 locals and we had a ball. I have a few friends that run other than Mustangs and maybe we can have a small shoot out.

Well I have a lot of local participation and it looks good. I was into Turbo Buicks for a while and some buddies are talking s*#t. I hope someone brings a fast Mach. My previous T ran 11.56 and was a street car and there are a few mid 10 second Buicks running at the mouth. I just tell them that it is a bracket race.

I'm not up to date on the muncie track info, but when is this going to happen?
Do you expect any track improvements? Imho, i think they are a little cheap on the track prep. but i have been able to see and experience high dollar tracks. so my opinion may be unfairly biased.

The track is normally really good. I race there, bunker and at IRP and I like it better than both of those. I am shooting for the opening of the year when the air is still cool and the only thing that would change that would be the new owners. I hear through the grape vine that all the areas that are still gravel are going to be paved and they are resurfacing everything from 1/8 on (they re surfaced launch and to 1/8 a year or so ago). My previous sc 87 gt was doing 1.49-1.55 60 fts on all stock susp.

Too cold to be too scantily dressed, which sucked. But it was a cool little show. J21 was there, very nice guy. We both got trophies for the top 20. I'll have pics later today.

Yes, it was cold but it was fun!!!~nice meeting you too Machgirl04..nice ride!!had fun with your boys as well!!! your next trip down, I'll take you down to the Suds in Greenwood..In the Summer time there is about 1000 cars usually show up for a hangout to enjoy everybodys cars..they have been doing it for over 50 yrs.. Hey we got Top 20!!!!! woohoooo!!!!!

wOOOOO hOOOOOOO!!!!! went to a show in Bloomington yesterday and had a decent turnout for the last Car Show for me for the year.. 5 of us went down there and was hoping to win the American car class for the 2nd year in a row.. but didn't win however real nice 06 Gt who came from Anderson got a 2nd place.. A friend of mine who brought a HUGE 4x4 Chevy won Best 4x4.. as we were getting to walk away after Fred got his award for his truck.. they announced the Best of Show Winner and I about had a heart attack when they announce my Mach 1 was the Winnner... all I can say was WOW!!!!

what a way to end a great Car Show Season!!!

Way to go, Mach bro!! I wish I had known. I'm missing car shows. Totally looking forward to next year though. A HUGE congrats to you! I'd knock you down with a big hug and then shake your hand but it's only the internet. Way to make us midwest Machers proud! I'll see you sometime next year.
