Since this thread is appearing again, thanks to good ol' OSU trying to highjack it, I went back to the grocery store a couple of weeks later. I knew one of the girls who was working there. I'm having this conversation with her. It was late and no one was working there, so her coworkers started hanging around. She introduced me to them, then that guy came over, the one who had admired my car before. She introduced me to him and he's telling my old friend, "you have to see her car!" He goes on and on talking about it. I didn't have to say one word about it! I just had to nod and listen. Yeah, Mach1's are some good sh*t! haha!

Mine is aftermarket.

well, it is an FRPP Shaker with a motified bracket and an aftermarket CF Mach 1 hood all installed on a GT. I just love the way the shaker looked, and the normal aftermarket shakers by CDC just dont cut it.
And no, NOWHERE on the car does it say mach 1, and the rims are not mach 1, i dont have a spoiler, and it DOES say GT on the side. lol...

They are from Deftracing.com, they are the locking aerolatches.

I love them, however im hesitant to use them on the CF hood i get delivered since i have to destroy the one i have. I have another thread on that issue, long story.

anyways, i love the latches, they lock, are very secure, i dont even have my stock latch on right now.

Only problem is placement and fitment. The latches are 100% flat. The hood is curved. So when it bolts on it pulls the hood into the latch and adds some stress, so i think before i install them on my new hood im gonna take some HD rubber and fabricate some curved gaskets to reduce strain on the hood.

Well, I saw you and you didn't even wave. I waved at you. Even if I wasn't in the Mach that night, I think you would notice a big goofy guy in a big red truck waving at you. At least i'm not a stuck up Mach owner. HAHA!

If my work every lets me get to a get together with you all, we will meet then. I hope its soon, I need a good time and to see some other Machs. Oh by the way, I just found out today I now have to work all day Saturday. I will find a way one of these day to join up with ya.

went to buy 2 gallons of cheap azz penzoil for the break in on the viper........
got home and opened 1 no seal and i looked in it and its freaken black. Open the second its sealed. Took it back and homeboy thought i was returning some used oil and i told him yes you fuggers sold me used oil to begin with. He didnt know what to think hahaha.
