Re: F#*$ F#@! F$*!
My biggest fear. I live in a very high deer community. And I leave my house at 9:15 at night to go to work. They are all beside the roads grazing and off 95 from Stafford to Woodbridge. I see 5 new kills everyday between work and home.

Re: F#*$ F#@! F$*!
Man that really sucks! I had a very similiar experience a couple of years ago. I was following another Mach owner down a very dark, narrow country road, and out of the corner of my eye I saw what I thought was an awfully big dog! Turns out it was a deer, and while it was running parallel with the road, all of a sudden it jumped the ditch, I slammed on the brakes, and hit it right in the soft underbelley, and it slid right across my hood, and went tumbling into the ditch on the opposite side of the road.
It got up, shook itself off, and took off through a field. Me, on the other hand, had to check my pants and seat cushion! Unlike you, I didn't get any damage to the car, other than a deer trail of saliva and some fur tufts caught in the corners of the fenders. Point is, you have watch out for deer, especially this time of the year. They will change direction on you in a flash and do stuff that seems totally illogical, like run into the side of your car!

Re: F#*$ F#@! F$*!
yeah...whats so sad is that i JUST got her back from the body shop not even two weeks ago because somebody backed into me. i cant let this happen to this car anymore. shes a beautiful creation that needs a good home in a garage out of the elements. im thinkin im gonna be looking for a change when i get her all patched up. ive got the original mach so its not gonna hurt that bad to see her go.....ok i lie...itll kill me...but like i said..she doesnt deserve this abuse!!

Re: F#*$ F#@! F$*!
Deer are in my top 5 list of things that are stupid.
I feel your pain. Some lady rear ended my Mach a week ago and cracked my rear bumper. The body shop has it fixed as of Wednesday and I'm picking it up tonight. I hope they did a perfect job! |

I had 2 collisions in mine within 6 weeks of each other. In the first one, I got rear-ended and had to have the rear bumper replaced. Then 6 weeks later, I accidentally went through a red light and collided with someone turning left (my fault). The front bumper, left front quarter panel, and headlight were all new. After all that sadness, I love driving this car around today as much or more than when I first bought it 4 1/2 years ago.

Re: F#*$ F#@! F$*!
that sucks , i didnt know deers didnt like mustangs.. I bet your car was so shinny it saw its reflection and thought is was another deer and attacked it. A Dog i had would see itself in the mirror and start barking at his reflection thinking it was another dog..
