Here's a Mustang for ya

one that actually gets much closer to Mach 1. great price, btw. that economies of scale thing must really work out nicely.

Saw this in their holiday flyer. I was wondering if they got the ok from Ford to use the Mustang name?? Pretty sweet deal though!

Re: Here's a Mustang for ya

Who in their right mind would buy a jet from Sam's? That would be like buying a Mach 1 from Target.....only worse.

Re: Here's a Mustang for ya

It's used!

The Citation Mustang Jet package includes:

- Lifetime Advantage Plus Membership to Sam’s Club.
- The Citation Mustang, S/N 510-0002
- Private jet transportation to Cessna Headquarters to select exterior and interior options
- Private jet transportation to pick up your new Cessna Citation Mustang Jet in Q4 of 2007

Citation Mustang Serial Number 510-0002 is the first Mustang built that will be available to the public. This historic light jet ushered in the month of September with a complete FAA Type Certificate. This jet has been showcased throughout the nation at a number of events and shows. To ensure the highest levels of performance and value, the aircraft will be delivered with new engines, and a fresh interior and exterior.

I had a model of one when I was a kid. Only got to fly it twice though. It caught a pebble when it was taking off. Sent the propeller right into the ground.

I didn't buy it but there is no sense in picking only one Mustang. With the 1M saved on the jet buy the P51. All you need to be is rich.

I'm thinking the Jet would be more practical.
