WTB Port and Polished Intake Manifold
As it says in the title, I really want to buy a port and poished intake manifold. I've been looking at recent threads and been seeing that people have been seeing some very nice gains. Let me know if you have one, or know of anyone who port and polishes them. Thanks

I've been throwing around the idea of buying or doing the port and polish job myself next winter. However, Im not sure of the initial gains without having long tubes and or head/cam work. Maybe Ill have to do a big project next winter!

You can buy a 99-01 cobra intake on ebay right now. I have seen two of them this weekend. Buy one to get sent out to be P/P.

I wonder if extude honing would be easier to do...that port/polishes all in one swoop...
How would you p/p the lower intake? Seems like you would have to cut it in half to do it right...?! |

I was also wondering about extrude honing. I have their price list somewhere and I don't think it is at all that expensive.
Yes they do cut the intake then weld it back together. |

I have an intake that has been P.P. and cut for short runner operation . I can sell in about 2 weeks after next dyno .

I recently had Orange Blast (AKA: Jimmy Dedden) port/polish my stock Mach intake.

If Al Pappito did anything on your car, I am sure it's top notch.
I have heard nothing but great things about his work. Besides, anyone who runs 9's in a 5.4 Stang can't be too bad.
