I won't disagree that a FM Modulator adapter is the easiest way....
I have one for my wife's explorer... I like how easy it is to plug in and use but....

The problem is the sound quality....

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1124432781049

This is the one I bought..

Very poor in my opinion.... (I bought it because it says in the description "Crystal-clear sound emits through any empty FM frequency from 88.1 to 107.9; 4 preset stations") Sounds worse than a cassette tape player, actually even worse than a radio station...

http://www.mp3yourcar.com/search.asp...g&carYear=2003

If you care about hearing the sound in CD quality, the NEO iON in the above link is the perfect solution... It is double the price, but is well worth it in my opinion... ( I don't have one yet, but have heard a friends system with it and it sounds just as good as a CD)

Hope this helps,

Adam

Re: Ipod

There is a plug on the back of the Mach460 for an optional 6 disc CD changer that would mount in the trunk....

The NEO iON plugs right in to that.... Piece of cake!

Re: Ipod

This allows you to use your factory stereo controls to control the iPod or you can still use the controls on the iPod itself.....

Pretty cool....

That's fine for the 03s, but it doesn't work for 04

I tried the early FM modulators and weren't too happy with them. I recently bought a Griffin RoadTrip and have been very pleased with it. I use it in my F150 (no adapters for that yet either) every day. The limiting factor is your receiver...the sound quality is equivalent to an FM station. The tuning capability is nice since the lower FM band where the cheaper FM modulators are pre-tuned is kind of crowded near me.

Correct.

You could use this then just plug the headphone jack into the adapter....

This way you could atleast have CD quality!
