Centerline telestars?

I think I might have a wheel choosen to mount MT 15" drag radials. I like the look of this Centerline Telestar.

REARS:
Wheel, Telstar, Aluminum, Polished, 15 in. x 8 in., 5 x 4.5 in. Bolt Circle, 5.5 in. Backspace, Each $135.88

Tire, MTT-3753R, ET Street, P 275 /50R15, Radial, Steel-Belted, R1 Compound, Blackwall, Each $150.95

FRONTS:
Wheel, Telstar, Aluminum, Polished, 15 in. x 4 in., 5 x 4.5 in. Bolt Circle, 1.625 in. Backspace, Each $119.95

Tire, 185/65R15 tire, AVID H4/V4,Radial, DOT- Approved, H Speed Rated, Blackwall, Each $47.50

LUGNUTS:
CLL-L5300, Conical Seat, 1/2 in. x 20 RH, Closed End, Chrome Plated Steel, Set of 5 $10.39

I would get the wheels, tires and lug nuts through Summit. Have a $10.00 off coupon so bascially the catalog prices are my delivered prices if I get everything all at once.

Can I get this stuff anycheaper anywhere eles??

Re: Centerline telestars?

Im looking into drag pkg. my self . Im pretty sure im going to run something much larger in the rear that i have now . Looks like i will have my buddys body shop roll the fenders minimum but chk. what is involved in tubbing . Its always something , not sure what im going to do yet . I have to figure it out quickly ! I think that Mach Ran is looking for a new setup as well . I think there is a company here locally that handles this . Ill have to get in contact with him .

I don't want to roll fenders or grind brake rotors and I am told the above combo will work with no modifications.

I would never grind my brake motors . Just switch to GT backplates ! Thats the trick ! For you that is ! LOL

Me on the other hand i need lots of rubber on the ground . I mean that !

Re: Centerline telestars?

I have the 15X8 5.0BS Centerline Telestar wheels with 275/50 mickey drag radials mounted on them and i did have to slightly grind the top of the caliper. The good news is the tires hooked like glue. The bad is my clutch didnt lol

Your fronts could be a better size as that combo is smaller. You would be better suited running a 165/80/15. Now if the tire just reads 165/15 the 80 is implied on 99.9 % of the tires.
There is nothing wrong with the other guys size it is just not as close to the stock height as the 165/80's are.
