Angry Fyi

Just in case anybody was wondering, the torq thrust II's 17" rim will not fit on our cars. Tirerack said there would not be a problem with our front brakes hitting the rim, but low and behold I ordered them and they did not fit. The rear wheels lool great but the fronts are a no go and now i have been waiting for two weeks for UPS to pick them up but they have not come and every time I call tirerack they say that they will be there today or tommorrow. I am going to go crazy and now i dont know what wheels ot put on my car.

Re: Fyi

Dude, that sucks!!! I'd be freakin' irate to the point of looking for plane tickets to personally taking wheels back to TireRack. I feel your pain. Have they offered to discount any new wheels? If not, why not??

Good luck!

Re: Fyi

Good ol' tirerack guy said that there is not a spacer that will do the job, but i am going to bring up the discount issue that had not even occured to me.

Re: Fyi

im thinking you didnt get the right offset and what not for our brakes, theres numerous mustangs, cobras included that are running these rims with our brakes and dont have any issues
