Re: OK Shakers: Range Day
Hats OFF to you Kyle for setting this up and tell Jennifer Happy Birthday and thanks for letting you spend the day with the boys! I had a good time and enjoyed the guns. I would still have to say that I enjoyed my Smith mod 29 the most but didn't bring enough bullets. I hated to leave so early as the AR would have been fun to shoot too. As is it I have 3 to clean and will have to do it in a few days since my schedule is full of things I need to do. And Kyle, make sure you thank the rangemaster again for allowing our attendance and use of the targets and field house. We didn't have any Yellow or DSG Machs there either. It was great seeing you guys once again and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Re: OK Shakers: Range Day
I apologize for not hanging around to chat afterwards. Craig and I needed to have a quick talk about some BS going on around work, and I was in a hurry to get home and get a nap before having to come in tonight. It's been a long **** day for me. Not only are some guns dirty, but my house is thrashed after hosting Jennifer's birthday party.
I am glad that everyone enjoyed themselves. I came home with way too much ammo! I suppose if I had organized the day's activities better, we could have done a bit more. I wasn't too sure what all types of shooting everyone wanted to to, so I opted for the Free For All. Any way you cut it, I think this was a helluva lot better that shooting indoors. I would also like to say thank you to everyone for being mindful of safety concerns. I really didn't know what to expect, not having any prior knowledge of people's gun handling skills. I think Phil's AR-10 probably would have taken "best in show." I wouldn't mind havin me one of them, except I'm pretty sure that Armalite is awful proud of them. I got a few pictures that I will try to post whenever I get a chance. Once again it was good to see everyone, all of the cars looked real nice parked in a row on the hill. cya next time
