Jerome Duncan Ford Siezed by FORD - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

I heard a roomer today by a good source that said Jerome Duncan Ford was taken over by FORD today. Apparently they came in, told everyone to go home and locked up the doors. I also heard they owed Ford 18 million dollars. Can anyone in the Sterling Heights area confirm this. I think its in Sterling Heights?

In the case of minority Ford dealers which means dealers that are own by Ford and operated by independants, Ford can shut down any of those dealers at any time as they see fit. If a dealer is not running the way Ford wants it to run, thay have the power to do that. But in this case of Jerome Duncan, looks like its half owned by two different family members and one of those members got a little spend happy which caused the family owned dealer to go bankrupt. But this goes against what my sources say. Its hard to get true media publications out of Detroit these days. Iam going to have to dig into this alittle more. Thanks for the link 2k4mk1.

Had same thing happen to American Ford here in Bloomington Minnesota last year.

Walked in, told everyone to go home, and locked the doors.

Ended up auctioning off the SVTs, Panoz, Roush and Saleens.
