250.00 plus shipping which is about 18.00 to 20.00 dollars a wheel with insurance. The wheels were only used at the drag strip once and had stick on wheel weights.

Hey Nate, I have a couple questions for you.

How much?
Condition?
And are they the originals off your car?

Re: Wanted stock takeoff mach rims

250.00 for both the 17x9s. I only had them on the car for 1 trip to the drag strip. They are in perfect shape, I only need to take the drag radials off. I decided to keep the cobra wheels on my car. They are AFS wheel.

125.00 for both the 17x8s. They are in good shape no curb rash. They came off my cousins car, we bought 4 AFS wheels and he kept the 17x8s on the front.

Re: Wanted stock takeoff mach rims

Something got on one of mine and has eaten away at the clearcoat. Im looking for a replacement wheel cause I show the car occasionally. So I'm really looking for a pair with no scratchs or blemishes. If there in near perfect condition, consider them sold.

In a previous post you said your in the tampa area?

Re: Wanted stock takeoff mach rims

Are you looking at the 17x8s. I can take pics and send them to you. I live in Sarasota which is just south of Tampa. I will check the wheels over real well this weekend. The 17x9s are pretty much new. Just let me know when you want them, I am going north the first of May.

Hey Nate, If he's taking the 17X9's and the 17X8's are nice let me know. I have one with some rash on it and one with the clear peeling.

Re: Wanted stock takeoff mach rims

I want the 17x8's. And yes if you would look them over and let me know I would really appreciate it. I'm about an hour south of you just outside Fort Myers. If I do buy them would you mind meeting me one night or weekend so I could pick them up from you. It would be cheaper on me then paying to have them shipped. This would be at your conveince of course.

Re: Wanted stock takeoff mach rims

I cleaned the rims today, there are a couple of marks where the wheel weights were. Only a few very small scratches otherwise. I can take pics if you want. I don't think you will see the small scratches, I can't see them when I stand up. I will be in Englewood next weekend if you want to look at them.

Re: Wanted stock takeoff mach rims

If you think the scratches would show up on film I would love to see some pics. Really all I need is one real nice one for shows. The messed up one I got and the other rim I buy are gettin some stickier tires mounted up.

Re: Wanted stock takeoff mach rims

I will post some pics tomorrow afternoon. It sucks that thw wheel weights leave marks. The 17x9 have no marks, I had stick on weights put on with the Nitto drag radials. I will probaly sell the tires also because I want the 315's.

Thanks. How did you like the nitto tires? I was leaning toward BF Goodrich g-force t/a kd's.

Re: Wanted stock takeoff mach rims

The Nittos are not bad, I am still learning how much of a burnout to do for the best performance. They are not anything like a slick but I like them for the street and maybe they won't break anything like a real slick would. Send me your email and I will send pics. This site is really slow at the moment it is taking forever to do anything.

Re: Wanted stock takeoff mach rims

Nate thanks for the pics. I think I'm gonna have to buy new or someones who just took the rim and tire off as a combo. Seems like there is no getting the wheel weight off without scaring the rim. But then again its probably happening when there installing the weights. Thanks for taking the time to take pics for me. I really appreciate it.

Re: Wanted stock takeoff mach rims

No problem, I would just buy new ones and put the stick on weights. I have seen new rims for 125.00 a piece.
