New Owner in Jersey

Well I went to see the 2005 Mustangs and ended up going home in a 2003 Mach 1. I have found that there are not enough driving hours in a day and I'm running out of excuses to go to the store (across town). Overjoyed to be a member of such an elite class of people. Cheers!!

Welcome!! Where abouts in NJ?? I live right near GA, and I've recently seen another blue getting on the highway near me. If you aren't busy on wednesday night, I usually go to englishtown raceway to get a few runs.

Welcome. Sounds like you did the same thing I did. Was looking for an 05 Gt and ended up with an 04 Mach instead. So glad I did.

I thought the 14th was the end of season? They are on for the 21st? Is there T&T tomorrow night 11/17? I have yet to put my car on the track and with 16k on my skaterbacks I don't know if there's even a point to running. I'll prolly spin my way to a 15.5 or something

I'm hoping to finish some mods and bring a good newbie showing for the '05 season.

I'm in Holmdel. Englishtown sounds great but I should probably get my tags and insurance squared away before I have too much fun. The 2005 season will do fine at least by then I'll be completely acclimated to the power and maybe a mod or two. What time do you run, maybe I can come watch.

Did you happen to buy the Mach at Freehold Ford? If so, it was probably Saturday afternoon. I had the Yellow Mach in the parking lot. I went there to check it out for a friend. Best of luck and enjoy the Mach. See ya at E-town.

Yep that's the one. I'll keep an eye out for you. So what did you think of it? So far I can't find anything to complain about (aside from the insurance boost)

The car would have been sold if you didn't buy it first. I didn't see anything wrong with that car. Looked like whoever owned it was very good to it. Only one thing I saw that could be a problem. No mods!! But hey, that can be fixed, right?

My son is in the Coast Guard and stationed at the Loran Support Unit in Wildwood. I have made several trips up from Georgia. For anyone reading this that has never been, Wildwood and Cape may are awsome and are nothing at all like I pictured New Jersey. I will keep our Georgia winter though. I may take the Mach up in the Spring when it warms up. Possibly we can hook up, or if any shows close to Wildwood around then please post or email me so I can time my trip around that.

Welcome! I live in NC. My wife is from NJ. We have a bit of a cultural mix. We visited NJ a few years ago. Great state. However that turnpike is a bit much for my layed back southern style of driving and those toll booths were a trip. You roll in there pay and then its a dragrace. Good luck with your car! The people on this site are fantastic! They will help answer just about any questions you might have about your car.

My father was stationed there in the 60's running that same station and he spent a year in lybia running the one out there. I've been there myself in that station doing some environmental (asbestos) cleanup work a few years ago. And now I'm over on the Cape May side doing a job at the Medical Center Renovation, I was just in there last week, and will hopefully be back there next week. I took the Mach ther to show one of the construction Manager's he has an s2000, Marauder & Lightning. Tried to get a race with him up the parkway.
