Need some advice here - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

Here's what's going on:

I found a 1969 Cobra Jet 428 for sale on ebay yesterday listed for $8,000.00. The pictures of the car (taken in 2001) showed the car to be flawless, no rust issues or paint issues.
I emailed the buyer and he said that he resides in Greece and would ship the car to my home for the above mentioned price. He would have to ship it over here which can't be too cheap through Lufthansa Shipping Company.
I'm not as up to speed on vintage Mach's as I would like to be, but I know 8K is way too cheap for a 428 with matching serial numbers.
As of last night the item disappeared off of ebay and it can't be found.
He has sent me his phone number and some details on the vehicle but something isn't ringing quite right.
I dug around on the net and found this website http://www.fedrelandsvennen.no/amcar/usa/69must.html
and it is the exact car.
Do you guys think this is a real deal or is this some type of ruse?

Get out the vasaline and a corn cob. Your fixing to get rear ened big time. Never buy a car you can not validate by someone actually seeing the car. Sounds like a scam!

No one realy knows....BUT I can find out. I have family there. tell me his name, number etc. My Godfather is presently The minister of internal affairs. Like saying Director of CIA here in the states. If it is a scam, He will be dealt with anyways. I shop e-bay all the time. Hate when people try to scam. I would love to help you out. Now, if it is legit, I will have no problem sending my cousins to check out the car for you. US Machres will stick together..WORL WIDE. You can also p.m. me but others here might want to join in.
