left front end squeeking

I just noticed yesterday when I'm driving and hit a bump (it does not have to be a big one) I'm getting a squeeking sound around the left front. At least it sounds like the left front. I'll tell ya I have not had to many problems with old blue 2 that I couldn't live with.
But this ones going to drive my crazy. The wife says I'm on here way to much, And that I'm always waiting to find something wrong with my Mach. Not true!! Anyways has anybody else had this happening on there car????

What does it sound like? Is it loud or faint, high-pitched or low-pitched?

high pitched and faint... You could also call it a chirping sound.

Correct, I have not noticed it with the windows up. Do you know what it is? And does it drive you nuts? I mean my car only has 900
miles. And I dread taking it to the chop shop (ford dealer) As pictures of 18yr olds going side ways in my car danced in my head
if you know what I mean.

No, I don't know what it is but it does get on my nerves. I'll be putting the borla stingers on in a few days and planned to take a look underneath to see if I notice anything. It sounds like it's in the front left whell area to me. I can hear it better if I'm driving next to a curb. I think I might check the subframe connectors just to be sure they are still tight.

Now I think I'm hearing the brakes squeeking. It's faint but you can hear it when riding in left hand lane along the curb.

Have your Ford dealer check out SSM 17100.

Are you certain its not the shaker? It sure sounds like it could be, from the symptoms you describe.

Oh My God? Give me a break! Are you sure that in addition to riding in the left hand lane along the curb that your window doesn't have to be down 3/4, the wind blowing out of the east, humidity at 67% and the outside temp at 77.5 degrees?

Been having the same problems with the front right, I believe its the lower control arm bushing. Ford sent out a service bulletin notice on it. Brought mine into the dealership already and they said they couldnt locate the squeak ... even though I TOLD them where it was coming from. My advice to you is take it in, drive around a little with them in the car and show them where its at. Mine happens noticably when its damp out or had rained the night before. Good luck, hope you get it fixed

Guess I shouldn't have been so dorky! Mine's doing the same thing! I guess there's a TSB on the control arms and bushings. Will wait until it really bugs me to address it.

My car makes an intermittent high pitch chirping noise from the left front that is easier to hear while driving along side a concrete wall or curb. I believe my noise is the brakes as it stops when they are applied.
