Are you still the original owner????
Nope. If I’m not mistaken I’m the third. But if you want to get technical I’m the fourth. Bought it from a shop that acquired it, due to abandonment, to sell.

Third owner crashing the thread here.
From the Carfax, it didn't look like the first owner ever drove the car. _ |

Re: Are you still the original owner????
Original owner still here. Built 2/28/2003. Bought 4/07/2003. 85k miles. If can I say so myself it looks just as good as new. Tires are 13 years old! LOL I have done the basic maintenance items, replaced battery a couple of times, replaced shocks, and have done a tuneup but no major mechanical failures. I finally fixed the driver's seat where my fat a$$ rubbed this year, so I guess I'm good to go. Red is the fastest.

Re: Are you still the original owner????
Original owners here, we ordered on the first day that the order banks were opened in 2002 and picked up the Mach mid December 2002.
I just rebuilt the engine earlier this year. A couple of years ago I spun #4 rod bearing and finally got around to pulling the motor and rebuilding it. Had the crank machined, they checked the block and didn't need to get it machined just had them glaze break the cylinders. Had a valve job done on the heads. I did all the assembly myself. I replaced all of the a/c system except the evaporator since the compressor was making noise and I had a leak on one of the hoses. Recovered the front seats with new foam and replaced the carpet. Now she's back to be a pretty much daily driver. Gotta put some miles on the new motor. Still stands out, don't really see a lot of them down here.

Re: Are you still the original owner????
Second owner. Bought 9/1/04 with 562 miles on it. Crossed 60k miles the last times I drove it. Original owner traded it in on an F-150 after an illness made it too hard for him to get in and out of it. Debating returning it to stock.

Re: Are you still the original owner????
I'm the second owner. Bought it in Sept. '04 from the original owner who could'nt afford the payments. I saw this car around town for months and then found out this was the car I kept seeing. Still only has 38K on it.

Re: Are you still the original owner????
I am the 1st and 5th owner of my Mach 1. Purchased August 17, 2003 sold August 18, 2010 to purchase a 2011 GT500.
Bought the Mach 1 again in March 2017. Up for sale to a friend, he and his son want a car to enjoy and take to shows. The car just sits mostly and I don't have a garage. Sad to see it go again but happy to see a father and son excited about enjoying a car together. The kid cleaned out the garage so it will finally rest in a dry area. Still have the GT500 but may sell that down the road. I'm getting ready to retire in a few years and if I need to sell to put money down on property then so be it.. In those 7 years I did not own the Mach 1 I was still here with all you peeps. If I sold off my last Ford I'd still be hanging out here and going to the annual Carlisle Ford shows. You guys can beat me up about my Chevy's.. lol

yep, purchased November 03. It has a little over 80k on it, it was retired from DD duty around 2009 and spent too much time on jack stands ever since

Re: Are you still the original owner????
First owner of my TR 2003 Mach. Have video of it coming off the flatbed trailer that delivered it to me in Fort Worth, TX from a dealership in Topeka, KS. It was Feb 14, 2003 - Valentine's Day.
No dealer prep done. I pulled every sticker and documented where it came off the car. The quarter windows had two stickers btw. They were on top of each other. The one on top was a yellow dot with no label. The one underneath was a green dot that said "Bullitt". Still have the whole mess in a tote around here somewhere.

Re: Are you still the original owner????
Yes, original owner here. I have just under 13k miles. But good miles...participated in the Mustangs Across America event (half of it) and then the cruised with Art Hyde down to Charlotte during the 50th Anniversary. Good times. Contemplating letting her go for a 350 though....

Re: Are you still the original owner????
2nd owner here, but have been around it since delivery. It was my brother's car he bought new and when he passed in 05 I sold the GT I had at the time and kept his Mach. 38k miles now I do not get enough time to enjoy it honestly.
