Help me decide wheels - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

Had a thread about silver vs anthracite fr500's but I'm still thinking of afs wheels.

My thoughts are, my Mach is black, it takes a lot to make black cars look good. Which mine does not. Had black wheels and hated them. I'm back on stock wheels and like them better due to contrast. So the deal is my stock Mach wheels are not in great shape, so if I ordered 2 rear afs,I'd need to re finish 2 of my original wheels to look as good for the front.

A set of fr500's are only a few bucks more and I get the whole set. BUT, I have a huge front swap bar that anything bigger than 8" wide up front rubs on the sway bar, and also I'd need 2 new tires for the fr500's since my 245's won't look the best on a 9" wheel. So both have the pros and cons, let's hear your opinions folks

I think chrome will help contrast with the black. I had black wheels on a blue car and it looked awesome. Black wheels on my DSG Mach was just too dark overall, but chrome wheels really helped.

I should of said, I deff don't want chrome. As I was saying I want either anthracite fr500 or afs rear Mach wheels

Since I have only had mine 7 months now and have not had to look at the same wheels for years I LOVE the stock wheels ! there are this that and the other out there , then there are ours , unique and stand alone. So take it for what its worth go Afs but a coin works too , Lol

Get the anthracite fr500s, I've got them on my black Mach and it looks amazing IMO!

What sway bar are you running? I'm thinking of upgrading mine and I've never heard of a clearance issue with the wider rims.

I have the chrome afs mach wheels and really dont care for them. The quality is absolutely horrible. Garage kept, about 8k miles on them and they are pitting pretty badly.I dont know about their painted wheels but I hope those are of better quality.
