i've used memorex, imation, and pny cd-r's in the mach stereo with no problems.

Use the ones that do not have a stick on label. Write the info on them with a marker.

Ran into this problem before, since then, I never use the stick-on lables.

About half my disks are CDRs and not once did I have a problem.
