My night

I do not know what you would call this, but a not woe is me or anything like that, just wanting to put it out there for all the others that deal with the same thing. I suffer from PTSD, it does not go away, one just learns ways to deal with it, but sometimes stuff happens and the body will just react to things that happen. it can be a certain smell, picture, etc...
Tonight the fireworks started going off and off they went for a very long time around me. I do not mind people enjoying their freedoms, but man does it jack with me so bad and the sounds can get me going. The heart and breathing start going and then it jacks with my sleep. I finally got up and watched videos on youtube and was able to go to sleep after 2am and now back up. just sucks hardcore. For anyone that deals with PTSD, it isn't fun, but know you are not a lone in the fight on this. My healing came from God.
Again not looking for a sorry to hear or anything like that, just felt like venting and sorry I do not really care to do it on Facebook.

I turned over to God back in 2013, which has truly help, but daily life does not go away, He is just the tool I use when those times come up.
No where in the Bible does it say that when you pick up that cross and follow Him does it get easy, but it gets harder, because one is fighting with this world we live in.
This is like my extended family here, so I know there are those who understand and I know i'm not a lone in it.
I do have peace, but there are just some things that will trigger my PTSD, which I understand this, it just sucks.
This is why I have explained to people that are thinking about joining the military. They may experience things that will last a life time that they will have to deal with. Just know its a sacrifice that one makes for the rest of their life.

I got on youtube and started watching some car video's and come to find out the new Shelby GT350R is one bad mofo. then started watching some epic fail videos which always give me a good laugh.

I've always admired how you open yourself up to the people on this forum and also admired the people on this forum who support each other so well when it comes to tough situations in life.

Yes sir I have been open more on here than any where else. the Group is so great here. I figure after a while you begin to know people, just as good as in person.
I will never forget getting sent a care package from M1R after I was hurt on my last deployment, it meant so much to get it in the mail. I'm very thankful and blessed man to have gotten to know some of you in person, but also on the forum. Hard to meet up when people are states away.
