Wilwood Brake Delivery!
Well, after kicking it around for a few - I decided to go with the full bore Wilwood setup (14" front/12.88" rear) - Hope they fit!
$3,451.31 later - this is what I went with:

Re: Wilwood Brake Delivery!
Look awesome! Keep us informed on install and pics throughout the process.
What's your intended use/reason for purchasing these (other than the fact that they are badazz)?

Re: Wilwood Brake Delivery!
Welp, I'm jealous... Would love to see them on the car. I know a lot of people are against big brakes that aren't used but I am absolutely obsessed with a good looking brake behind the wheels.

Re: Wilwood Brake Delivery!
I agree. It's nice having great brakes just cruising too. At some point, I will be upgrading too.

Re: Wilwood Brake Delivery!
I figure there isn't anything wrong with a good amount of overkill on most things!
Plus, I try to support my local UPS guy. lol I'm planning on getting them bolted together (w/ loctite of course) and safety wired all this weekend due to the winter weather sticking around for awhile. Sort of prep for the actual install so when it gets a bit warmer - I can toss these babies on! We will see how many cuts I get while attempting the safety wiring! I've heard that wire hurts like a son of a gun when you get stabbed! |

Re: Wilwood Brake Delivery!
+1! Don't you just hate seeing a nice set of wheels with a small rotor/caliper setup.

Re: Wilwood Brake Delivery!
Logan, I'd love to have that setup just can't justify the $$ right now. I'd save all your original stuff just in case you sell the car. Even used you should be able to get most of your money back. Too bad the 05-14 Brembos can't be made to fit our cars? What kind of wheels are you running? Just curious about the fit.
Looks real nice and would like to hear about how they perform. Jim |

Re: Wilwood Brake Delivery!
Not to take anything away from big brakes, hell I have Baer's on the front of my Mach.
Tires do wonders too. Check it out. http://youtu.be/sWEF6Cdwea8 Cut to 16 minutes in.

Re: Wilwood Brake Delivery!
VERY cool for sure!
Just be careful on a track day with the cross drilleds.

Re: Wilwood Brake Delivery!
Well - it's taking a bit longer to find the time to toss these on...but I did get the fronts prepared for install.
Everything is installed using red Loctite, torqued & safety wired together. First time messing with safety wire - I think it came out alright. Pro-tip: That little stainless wire will stab you mercilessly! Once I get the rear brakes done - I'll be fine if I never have to do it again! lol |

I laughed so hard at this, because I know what you're talking about. Lol Not these wires, but from assembling braided stainless wire covers at work. So those wires sets are to keep the rotor from shattering? IG: @azurebluemach

Well, the safety wire creates tension between fasteners so each bolt holds the other and actually tightens if the other starts to come loose. Extra layer of vibration protection essentially. |

Re: Wilwood Brake Delivery!
Keep in mind that the cross drilled rotors are not for track days or road racing. Wilwood makes a rotor for that application.

Mach is getting its rear-end upgraded as I type. 3.73 gears, Moser 31-Spline axles & a T2R Torsen install. Along with a snazzy FRPP differential cover of course! lol |
