Who has broken oil pump gears?
please vote and add any additional info such as what kind of power adder and HP at the time of the failure.
wondering if theres any links here other than just too many horsepowers

Once people understood what was happening with the small dampers they started making wiser choices and failures decreased dramatically. In addition to that the main culprit made by Steeda was redesigned with a larger diameter and more weight so were not going to see as many oil pump failures these days.
Interesting that they went through this same learning curve with the 5.0's only it wasnt a complete mystery this time around and people wised up pretty quick. |
