Possible problem while changing spark plugs

Decided to change my spark plugs today. Everything was going real smooth.

Got to number 8 cylinder (passenger side rear most) and noticed corrosion on the coil boot.

Here is a picture of what the area around the coil looks

Also had missed some corrosion from number 6. Everything was going so easy I didn't think to check it.
Here are up close of cylinder 8

Here is the spark plug that came from cylinder 8

All the rest of the coils and walls looked like number 2

Am I over reacting thinking that I headed for trouble? Or is just a loose seal around the cover and water has gotten under the cover. Car hasn't shown any issues.

Common problem if the coil cover seal leaks. Usually its through the back where yours did. Just use a vacuum and try and clean it up the best you can. Use rtv when you reassemble to keep water out.

Yep a little dollop of RTV where the wire comes thru.
