Mmr vs php intake spacer

Hey guys, was looking to pick up a 1/2" intake spacer from Roy but he said he doesn't do them anymore, so I guess that leaves me with either php or mmr. I guess what it comes down to is do either of them make crap because if not a spacer is a spacer. Unless someone has a roy spacer they want to sell me.
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Mmr vs php intake spacer

i bought a 1/2" spacer from MMR. i feel it was a bit pricey IMHO, but it was a nice piece (great fit and finish) with an OEM ford gasket and all necessary hardware.

I've never seen a poorly made spacer, go with the one that is the cheapest.

Thanks for the link. Somebody reccomended I get an intake spacer now that I have an off road midpipe. I'm going to contact them. Not being steel or aluminum, do you think it's cool with heat? Seems like it's far enough away from extreme heat, but I was wondering.

Re: Mmr vs php intake spacer

it'll be fine and don't expect big gains from any spacer.

It raises the shaker up and makes it look better (in my opinion).

What is the job that you're trying to get done?
