What Shifter is This?
Any idea what shifter this is on my Mach? I purchased the car used so I'm not quite sure.

Re: What Shifter is This?
Have you tried taking out rubber boot??, maybe stamped on main body since it could be a aftermarket handle on a different shifter.

Agreed, hard to tell without seeing the base.

Re: What Shifter is This?
Forsure not a mgw or a Pro, looks more like a steeda. But like everyone else said, remove the boot and the brand should be on the shifter base.

Re: What Shifter is This?
I initially thought it was a Steeda tri-ax until I noticed the tri-ax doesn't have the cut outs on the arm. Good idea guys, I'll pull the boot off tomorrow and find out, I'll post up another picture if I still can't figure out what it is.

Re: What Shifter is This?
That definitely looks like it to me! It certainly doesn't feel bad, I don't have much any recent experience with anything else to compare it to though. My one buddy that drove my car said it felt just like his hurst he had in his gt. Now I'm wondering if I should keep it in there or get an mgw, I'd hate to spend the money for a mgw and have it not be any better.

Re: What Shifter is This?
The MGW is too stiff for some. Personally, I really like mine (have orange handle). The shifts are short and crisp, you will not miss a gear with it.

If you miss a gear with the MGW, you need to get an automatic. |
