Re: Well, got back from the dyno....

So went yesterday and got the new pulley on and re-dynoed. Results were a bit better. 432/368 at 7 PSI. I am a lot happier with that. IAT's were in the mid 160's throughout the day, about what Vortech cars do. I don't think I am even going to mess with the Meth, I really am not looking to get anymore power of it. I might change the exhaust, driveshaft, K-Member. Things like that, but no plans to pulley it up anymore. I do get to hear the blower a bit more

Base is set at 20 and the computer pulls based on certain factors. I think it was 19 that run

Re: Well, got back from the dyno....

Congrats. Those are better numbers. Curious to see how it does now at the track!

20 degrees of timing is a lot. Even 19. Especially with 160* IATs. Most cobras seem to run that hot though. They usually run closer to 20 degrees of timing, but they also have lower compression.

I ran 16 degrees at 6lbs, and dropped it down to 14 with my pulley swap. My IATs are usually within 10 degrees of the ambient temp.

Wow... Good improvement.
Anyone know of an old 1.7 kenne kicking around?
I could swing another 100 horse.

Re: Well, got back from the dyno....

14.67 A/F and 19/20 degrees of timing sees high for a non intercooled supercharged mach 1 setup.. I would of kept it a safe tune with that blower..

It wasnt 14.67, that just the peak of the reading as it starts recording. It was in the mid 11's the entire pull.

Not like it matters now anyway...

20 degrees is okay for a 8.5:1 compression, forged piston engine.

OP has a 8.5:1 forged engine? I thought he was on a stock Mach longblock.

So what are you going to do now?
Build it bigger? termi shortblock, stock longblock rebuilt, Build shortblock..

Then youll run into the issue of maxing that KB and want something bigger lol, Could always sell that KB to Bmeagher to help fund your rebuild.. And decide on another setup thats maybe intercooled this time.

Regardless, sorry to hear about your short lived fun.
