trunk badge removal question
Hi all, I've been on here for a while, and got a bunch of good info, so thanks for all the info so far! I'm in the process of repainting the car, and its in the prep stage, has anyone removed their "Mach 1" badge of the trunk? whats the best way to do it, and does it go back on easy? thanks for the help!

Re: trunk badge removal question
I used a heat gun, wd40 and fishing line. The wd40 will remove the adhesive residue.

Option 2 would be to use 3M plastic and emblem adhesive (glue). Very messy and probably will show around sides of the emblem. Conclusion, IMO, new paint=new emblem. |
