Lowering and tire sizes ?
Hey guys. Considering a little drop on my car. But im concerned with the tire size im running. I've got 275/35r18's up front and 305/35r18's in the back. All my rear suspension is team z out back and theyre soon to release a rear coil spring but im pretty sure it will drop the car some as their fox body spring does. Would i be able to lower the car at all with that size of a wheel and tire up front ? or am i going to rub ?

Re: Lowering and tire sizes ?
I am lowered and run that tire size all the way around and have zero rubbing issues.

Re: Lowering and tire sizes ?
How low? Im not looking to slam it. Maybe coil overs ans just bring it down to match the rear

Re: Lowering and tire sizes ?
You could roll your fenders if they aren't already. Just an idea.

Re: Lowering and tire sizes ?
295/35/18 on the rear of mine with close to the same drop. I'd say an 1.5-2 inch gap between the top of the tire and the fender and it rubs. Not horrible, but enough to see on the tire without question. The worst rubbing was pulling into a house at an angle that I used to live at. Coming straight on wouldn't put such an angle on the back axle compared to the car, but if I came in at an angle I ate up the top portion of my sidewall. No good, but I've just felt with it.

Re: Lowering and tire sizes ?
I'd roll the rear fender wells to be sure. I've got MT ET Street Radials (305's) on the back on FR500 18" American Muscle wheels...roll 'em, is my advice

Re: Lowering and tire sizes ?
I was running 295 30 18 on the back for the longest while with H&R super sport springs all the way around and had no problems whatsoever. Didn't have to roll the fenders with that set up. Now I'm running coilovers all the way around with 265's up front and 345's out back. A definite fender roll on the back with that set up.
