Torque Box Reinforcements Question

I was looking at either the UMI torque box reinforcements or the wild rides torque box reinforcements. Does anybody have these and can you still keep the rear seats once these are installed? From the picture it looks like the bolts are pretty long that stick through the floor board. I was thinking I can always cut them down once installed. But just wanted to see what you guys have done.

Thanks,

Dave

I just welded mine without adding additional material. You really want to do this when you are swapping out the upper control arms, otherwise I don't see how you can have enough room to clean the surfaces enough to get a strong weld.

Yes you can keep the rear seat.

I had to cut the bolts flush to help with fitment.

Re: Torque Box Reinforcements Question

I used wild rides as well and have not put my seat back in yet as im torn between rear seat delete or not. I dont see any reason it wont fit. might have the trim the bolts at most.

Re: Torque Box Reinforcements Question

I trimmed the bolts.

My rear seat delete was home built so Im not exactly sure how the purchased ones fit.
