what cars were the machs competition
So what cars, other than other mustangs, were the mach 1s competition? From those same year's they were made.

I'll go ahead and say the standard c5 Corvette. Mine ran door to door with my buddys 98 when we were both stock. His 6 speed to my 5 speed.
Ls1 camaros and ta's were also a great match up. Though they weren't being produced that exact year they were still the "competition".

may not have been the same year made, but 02 Z28, or SS or Trans Ams is what i think of.

I have a C&D From 03 and the cars in the comparo were the Mach 1, the Nissan 350z, and a Honda S2000, so you can take that for all its worth lol.
