Re: Ok spot to lift mach?
i wouldnt
ive jacked mine up on the MM full length sub frame connectors before. Ive also jacked the front end under the k member using a piece of 2x4 to spread it out a bit and never had an issue

Re: Ok spot to lift mach?
If I need to lift the front, I drive the front two wheels up on pieces of 2x4 and then slide the jack (with a piece of 2x4) under the K and go from there. Never had an issue doing this. Always set the parking brake and chock the rear tires when you lift only the front.

Re: Ok spot to lift mach?
gotchya guys thanks.. im just tired of the ole 2x4 thing... im going with a low profile jack just trying to locate a good spot for the front. When shops lift up cars or stangs for the matter using a 2 post with 4 pads where the heck do they put the arms/pads? I see the spot for the rears just dont for the fronts... ive had cars lifted with this setup before just never paid attention to where they put the pads

Re: Ok spot to lift mach?
im pretty sure the 4 post lifts go to the same part of the frame the front of your subframe connectors weld to.
I cant remember if its True Forged (the wheel people or not) but someone makes a jacking pad, it goes on a normal floor jack but its cut out with a slot so it clears that pinch weld youre talking about and you can use the same jacking locations as you would with the bottle jack the car comes with (search for it over on svtp)
