Color help

I know it has been brought up a few times, but I am ACTUALLY getting my car painted this May, so I was trying to figure out a color. Up until about 15 minutes ago I was dead set on going white and doing some blue Mach stripes... would be sexy I know. Then I got to thinking about Dark Highland Green and blah blah blah. All sorts of colors are running though my head. What do you guys think? Any ideas? Anything you all have wanted to do for a long time?

Re: Color help

being a bodyshop owner, I deal with this on a daily basis,..for most of my customers it comes down to a price issue,..reds are more expensive than black/white,..and changing the color on a vehicle correctly, can turn into serious bucks, as doors, trunk, hood, and all weatherstripping must be removed,..if price isnt a concern,..then I would ask your shop of choice for a color chip book for ford,..and take it home and flip through. Another thing to consider, is if you change the color on the car, it will affect the value should you ever decide to sell it, as the vin# and paint code will tell the tale. If the shop is telling you they can change the color without tearing the vehicle down, run..if your car is say, white, and the paint it red,.if moldings around the glass, etc, arent removed, it WILL peel, and you're gonna have a botched up two-tone that will be astronomical to correct,..pay the money the first time,..hope this helps,..just 25 years worth of my .02!

Re: Color help

I've always wondered what it would look like with a hotrod metallic purple color... I think it would look sweet with the black shaker and spoiler.

Re: Color help

It will be done right. THe only problem is that I'll have to wait to spray the engine bay.As far as colors go, it's clear I am open to several ideas. My current ideas are white and dhg...also contemplating deep impact blue.

Re: Color help

Grabber Blue

I have always thought that this color would look outstanding on an '03'04 Mach!
