Crate Motors

What are the different crate motors that are available for the mach?

only longblock i've seen is the aluminator.

there are quite a few short block options.

2004, TR Mach 1. C&L cold air intake, MAC longtube headers, MAC o/r prochamber and Magnaflow catback (sex). 3.90 gear set driven by an MGW sts (orange handle). Sitting on SVE lowering springs, stock shocks and struts and a set of 17x9/10 chrome SC replicas from LMR.

pretty sure the 4.6 aluminator is dead but now they have something with an aluminum block thats like 298 ci and calling it a 4.9x or something along those lines

Drop a new Coyote crate motor in it...you can put ANY SBF crate motor in it if you want to....even the old 5.0 pushrod.

It's SLIGHTLY more complicated than "dropping it in"... You have to deal with AC, PS, electronics, the drive-by-wire throttle body, and I'm sure a boatload more.

Ya. By the end of it, might as well just trade the Mach in for a used coyote. I'd rather do that than deal with the swap.

Oddly enough, so far an lsX is easier to swap in then the new 5.0
