Motor wont start

I've had the Mach in the garage for three weeks while waiting for my new tires to come in and when I tried to start it tonight the battery was nearly dead and it wouldn't fire. I jumped it and the motor turns over fine but it still wont start. Am I forgetting something here by the battery going dead...a fuel cutoff, a reset switch, something?
Thx, Sod

Re: Motor wont start

How old is the battery? I notice ur in Phoenix, could be heat zapped it while it sat. Did you go out and start it once in while during that 3 weeks.

Pull the batt and take to Oreillys or the zone and have them test it.

Thanks for the reply USMCWeatherMan. Problem solved! Went back out a few hours later and it started right up...battery is now charged full. Not sure why the motor wouldn't start tho...flooded it on the first restart...can you flood a FI motor??
P. S. got the new tires on...5th set much to the wife's chagrin. Kuhmo Ecsta SPT.

OORAH!
