Recommended headers and mid-pipe
Ok...so I am fairly new to mustangs and performance upgrading. I did a little bit on my Cobalt that I had, however I have not had that car for a few years and lets be honest. The difference between a cobalt and mustang is like comparing an apple to an orange.
Anyway, when I got my car it already had a bassani catback installed. Click Me!!! That looks to be the only thing that I can see that is not stock. I am wanting to finish the intake and exhaust so I can really let this thing breath. I am getting ready to get this: Click Me!!! After I get that installed all that will be left is the headers and midpipe. For that I need some recommendations on what to get because I have no idea what will even fit let alone what the best route to go is. Thank in advance for the help. |

Re: Recommended headers and mid-pipe
it all depends on what your budget is really, but for sure get Long tubes and don't waste your money on shorty headers, since you have bassani CB you could get the Bassani mid length headers w/ mid-pipe and have a full Bassani exhaust system.
Kooks Long Tubes w/ x-pipe is another good, but expensive header mid pipe set up MAC Long tubes and mid pipe is good, sound good, and doesn't cost out the azz for em. SLP is another brand you can check out ASh

Re: Recommended headers and mid-pipe
I mean...of course I don't want to have to take a 2nd mortgage out on my house, however I also don't want to skimp and get crappy stuff either...
Thanks for the suggestions...I will post before I buy...just to get an idea from the people that are way smarter than me... |

Re: Recommended headers and mid-pipe
Hey I took the stainless header and mid-pipe, the over the axle I went with stainless Borla stinger. I use the Kooks 1 5/8" headers and x pipes.
