NMRA Coyote Stock - I'm running the class!

Sup everybody?!?! I have been really busy as of late and I havent checked in here in quite a while. Kelly and I still have both of our Machs, but they dont get driven near enough!

I'm going to be running the new NMRA / Strange Engineering Coyote Stock class for next year. The rules are pretty strict; but in a nutshell, 3200 pounds, stock sealed crate engine from FRPP and stock untouched computer programming as delivered from FRPP.

I'm driving an '01 Bullitt (Clone built from a BIW) that was built and setup by MV Performance. Here is a video if my first two passes in the car.. E V E R. I think we are on the right track...

What kinda numbers you guys running? What trans? This class looks like it would be a lot of fun and not too expensive either. Good luck.

I was just reading about that new class in the new 5.0 mag . Sounds like more will be expected from the driver than the car ,good luck !

Re: NMRA Coyote Stock - I'm running the class!

Nice! We were going to build a car for the class...but we are going to run SST and MM probably with our cars.

What RPM are you seeing? Be careful touching the limiter at the big end like that, those oil pumps hate it.

The limiter is at 7100, we are shifting at 6900ish.

It was actually more of a Body in Brown!

Would you recommend attempting to get a VIN for it?
