Promotion powertrain

I just ordered a 750hp t3650 from them and a clutch kit. Anyone running this tranny or done business in the past with them?

I have the same tranny, been running it since 09 with no problems. Shifts pretty smooth and has handled anywhere from 550 to 620whp so far with not one complaint.

Re: Promotion powertrain

from what they list. the only thing different from a 04 3650 is it has the 26 spline shaft.

I totally read this wrong, I thought you was asking about American Powertrain. my bad. I'm running the same trans in my car now. Just got it so it hasn't been abused yet.

It has angle 2nd gear, gorilla forks and the 26 spline input shaft.

Awesome, can't wait to get it going. Mine should be in the 550-600 rwhp range notice any difference in the shifting? Mill my mgw short throw go well with it?

Re: Promotion powertrain

I had my viper t56 rebuilt by them and am using one of their clutches. No complaints and it has all been holding up fine.

I'll be keepin up with this thread,
I'm set on getting the same one you just order
i'm looking at ordering next tax return (since i'm buyin house right now)

-Promotion HD3650
-Ram powergrip HD clutch
-Ram billet steel flywheel
-MGW short throw shifter (have steeda right now)
-trans mount

I think thats it

the price was amazing, all that and still under $3K and have a built trans, for sure think its the best bang for the buck for sure.

Re: Promotion powertrain

Hopefully they have upped their game recently.

I have seen way too many bad trannies come out of there as of recent.

Bitemark46 destroyed his, with only 315rwhp....and less than 2,000 miles...rated at 750....

His stocker lasted hundreds of passes and like 11+ years...

Re: Promotion powertrain

Ya that's what I'm scared of. I think I'll hang on to my stock tranny just in case the new on goes south. I'm gonna put the first 500 break in miles on it fast so I can get the full use of my 60 day warranty
