Re: Ummmmm
I doubt it, the reaction would be similar to when Ford tried to replace the fox-chassis car with the car that became the Ford Probe.

Re: Ummmmm
If that were the new Mustang, my first thought is that I'm glad there's 49 years worth of previous Mustangs to fall back on. But I'd say that the Evos is probably more a look into the future of the Fusion.

Re: Ummmmm
Ford may be trying to get a lot of attention with a radically different look. There will always be some who want to break away from the retro look and others who want to hold onto it. I'd expect them to meet somewhere in the middle.
The front....I think I could get used to that. Rear quarter...not so sure.

Re: Ummmmm
I believe it. New World Order/World Car and all that crap. Ford can't continue to sell "retro" forever. If so we'd still all be driving 1930 Model A's. Much like Disco, Retro is dead. 2014 Mustang will be the last of the American Mustangs as we know them, the true 49'er.
I think the biggest thing for most of us will be the question about if it will still have a V-8? In the 1974 the Mustang II originially did not. The demand forced Ford to put a V-8 back it, now at that time is was like 139 hp but it was a start (LOL).

Re: Ummmmm
I bet it will be close, after all it is a two door concept. Flat back glass reminiscent of the 71-73. I kinda like it.

Re: Ummmmm ..mustang will look like?
Now i found another article on that website with a white mustang concept, im all for a new design but still keep it cool and not change it so it looks like every other car. IMO most new cars now days look alike, the plastics, lines, color etc.

Re: Ummmmm
I might start saving my money to pick up a 2014 Shelby GT-500. While the new generation Mustangs, 2015 and beyond, may be cool and all that, the 2014 Shelby GT-500's with 650 hp will be the pinnacle of the performance Mustang’s much like the 1970 Boss 429’s are thought of today.

Re: Ummmmm
Four doors by my count. Although the rear doors when open make the car look like a dog next to a fire hydrant. Speaking of dogs, I don't think this says "Mustang" in any way, to me it looks like the new Mitsubishi Eclipse. I wouldn't ever spend my money on it. If this is the future it is time to buy a car and start hoarding parts.

Re: Ummmmm ..mustang will look like?
Looks like an Aston Martin concept car to me. There's no way that has anything to do with the 2015 Mustang...there's not one single hint of Mustang DNA anywhere on the car. Ford ain't that stupid.
