Very cool indeed, except when the guy says, "That's got a 5-oh, right?"

I think that was the one that was at Carlisle a couple years back. Very good conversion.

Larry told me a few stories about the old Mach which were cool. One was back in '69 when he bought the car new he couldn't get it over 110 mph by the speedometer on his way home. So he turned around and headed back to the dealership to complain. The car had less than 10 miles in it and they put it up on the lift checking and found it had the wrong speedometer gear installed. The dealership replaced the speedo gear with the correct one. He left the dealership and wound the speedo needle about an inch past 120 mph and was happy so he took it on home.

Re: 69 mach 1 built with 04 mach 1 parts
This build is just AMAZING!!!!
My Neighbor and I have been doing something simular, we are putting a 70 Chevelle body on a 2000 Corvette. We have been working on it since the spring. Its so close to being drivable but due to the weather we might not be able to. During the build I got thinking I would love to combine a 70 Mach & 04 Mach. Maybe I should start a build thread here but it is a GM build
