Re: Radiator question

I believe the fluidyne is 1" thicker than stock. You may have to relocate the fan temp assembly (i think thats what it is) thats on the top pass side there

also you need to notch the abs mounting bracket so you can slide the ABS assembly towards the back of the car 1".

Re: Radiator question

I think its over on svtp that they have pictures of the slotted bracket and such if youre looking for more info. Basically if you dont give this thing some room to flex a little with the car itll leak eventually

Re: Radiator question

Sorry. The radiator WON'T leak if you don't slot the bracket.

Slotting the bracket ISN'T necessary.

Mine has been on the car since May or June of '05. No slotting. No leaking. There are about 95k miles on the radiator and many of those miles are race miles. The car continues to race and NO leaks.

Car currently has 105,00 miles on it. Well, drive train doesn't.

Re: Radiator question

I wouldn't worry about it. Just get it and put it in.

Re: Radiator question

So you have 5 1/2 inches of clearance for the supercharger inlet duct, that will work with my power pipe.

Thank you,
Hector

Re: Radiator question

I just put a Mishimoto in my car. I think they are very similar in size. The power pipe does not clear the fan temp connector, also it hits the top of the upper radiator hose. Havent figured out how to solve that yet.
