Re: First Quarter Mile

Drag strip or Vegas strip? Either one would be fun in the mach! Have fun, report back your results.

Try not to get too excited and treat it as a learning experience - which it will be!

But it's fun too....kinda like sex for the first time

Re: First Quarter Mile

Hope you have a great time. Not to be a spoiler or anything but this forum is technically for road course and autox. Just sayin...........

However, the 1st quarter mile of a road course is always exciting!

Re: First Quarter Mile

Yeah I'm taking it to the drag strip lol. I will post results and hopefully they won't be too bad. And it will definitely be a learning experience since it will be my first time at the track. And I'm going to try and get a video up so I can get some feedback.

Re: First Quarter Mile

Is the car a manual or auto? And it all just comes with practice and learning to feel the car. When I first started I ran about 9.5 in the 1\8 mile and have ran a best of now of 8.706

I launch around 3k but slip the clutch a bit so I only spin the tires just a small amount. Best 60 ft so far has been 2.04, with my autox setup. Stiff shocks, big frt swaybar and stiff sidewall tires with more PSI than a normal drag tire.
