Just got the news my ABS module is bad. Light has been on for awhile, and I recently noticed my ABS doesnt work... $1000 qoute from brake specialist for parts and labor. Not gonna do it..

do you run it? do you think it's worth it?

(probably a dumb question) will i permanently lose my TCS?

i don't have TCS right now as my happy lil ABS light is on and local shop said it "wasn't communicating" so i'm assuming my module has gone bad as well.

i did. my car is returned to stock with plans to sell it. it saved weight and cleaned up the engine bay. yes, you'd lose TCS and ABS with it. the light will stay on but i pulled the cluster and removed the bulb to not be annoyed with it

basically, if you got another Mach, would you do it again?

i've not had ABS in like 6-7 months thanks to this **** thing and i'm really getting tired of seeing the light... i have noticed though that i don't actually need the ABS as it hasn't since been an issue...

Not the same as a Mach 1 AFAIK
Mach 1 labeled "Cobra" on the module.

GT and V6.
There are a few, one ABS only and one ABS/TC for GT,
then the Cobra ABS/TC.
Have to look it up, but there is more than one.
Might have to do with brake size.

Looked it up and above info is correct.
BTW list price is well over 1500, so the Ebay deal is killer.

I'll take any offer on mine. It was taken out for manual brakes. Just collecting dust in garage.

i'd do it again as i never really used/needed the abs and having t/c sucks. most tuners turn it off for us anyways
